Terms of service

The terms on which we provide FeeVerify. You own your data and the findings drawn from it. We provide and run the platform. Material findings carry human sign-off.

Last updated: 1 June 2026

These terms govern your use of the FeeVerify marketing site and platform. Where you have a signed order form or services agreement with us, that agreement takes precedence over these terms.

1. The service

FeeVerify is a platform that reconstructs what you should be paying your payment suppliers from your own contracts and data, identifies where actual cost diverges, and links every figure back to its source. Investigations are run with the oversight of cards and payments specialists, and material outputs are reviewed before release.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for your account credentials and for the activity of users you authorise. Tell us promptly if you believe an account has been compromised. You must be authorised to enter into these terms on behalf of your organisation.

3. Your data and ownership

You own the commercial data you upload and the findings, rulebooks, variance maps and reports derived from it. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host and process that data only to provide the service to you. We act as your processor for this data, as set out in our Privacy policy. We do not use it to train models.

4. Acceptable use

  • Only upload data you are entitled to provide to us for processing.
  • Do not attempt to breach the security or isolation of the platform, or access another tenant's data.
  • Do not use the service to break the law or infringe a third party's rights.
  • Do not resell or provide the service to third parties without our written agreement.

5. Outputs are evidence, not advice

FeeVerify produces sourced findings to support your own decisions. They are not legal, tax, accounting or financial advice, and they do not replace your professional judgement or your contractual rights against a supplier. Confidence is graded, and material outputs carry a named human sign-off, but you remain responsible for the actions you take on them.

6. Customer responsibilities

You are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data you provide and for having the rights to share it. The quality of an investigation depends on the quality of the inputs you supply and the data dictionary you approve.

7. Confidentiality

Each party will keep the other's confidential information confidential and use it only to perform under these terms. Your commercial data is your confidential information. Our platform, methods and non-public materials are ours.

8. Intellectual property

We own the FeeVerify platform, software, models, skills and documentation, and all improvements to them. You own your data and the outputs produced from your data. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of one party's pre-existing intellectual property to the other.

9. Fees and billing

Fees, billing periods and any usage allowances are set out in your order form. Unless stated otherwise, fees are exclusive of applicable taxes. Pilot fees and success-fee percentages are set out in your contract.

10. Warranties and disclaimers

We will provide the service with reasonable skill and care. Except as expressly stated, the service is provided on an "as is" basis, and we do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that every misbilling will be detected. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Limitation of liability

Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss. Subject to the previous sentence and to any limits set in your order form, each party's total liability arising out of these terms is capped at the fees paid or payable in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

12. Term and termination

These terms apply while you use the service. Either party may terminate for material breach that is not remedied within a reasonable period. On termination, we will, at your request, return or delete your commercial data in line with our Privacy policy and your agreement.

13. Changes

We may update the service and these terms. We will post the revised terms here with a new date, and notify customers of material changes. Continued use after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, unless your signed agreement says otherwise.

15. Contact

Questions about these terms: hello@feeverify.com.

Start with one month of your own data.

A pilot begins with the agreements that protect both sides, then your contracts and one month of settlement data, scoped with a payments specialist on the first call. The 30-day diagnostic re-costs every transaction against them and shows each variance with its clause, before any recurring fee.
